Class Descriptions

Introduction to Yoga (All Levels)

The focus is an introduction to basic yoga poses & healthy alignment. Here you will practice standing asana (poses) such as Mountain, Warrior, Triangle, Downward Facing Dog as well as seated poses plus beginner modifications for inversions and backbends. The Introduction to Yoga also incorporates yogic breathing, meditation, and relaxation techniques - great for stress relief and overall relaxation.

Fundamentals of Flow (All Levels)

Designed with the beginners in mind, Fundamentals of Flow offers a more detailed instruction preparing new students for regular Vinyasa practice. Fundamentals also offers seasoned students an opportunity to place increased attention on alignment and breathing techniques while discovering a deeper understanding of the strategic sequencing found in traditional Vinyasa Flow classes. Room heated to 80-90°F at teacher's discretion.

Restorative Yoga (All Levels)

Inspired by Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga is all about sensation, feeling and stillness in a pose. This class is primarily focused on natural breathing and gently stretching that allows connective tissue to heal through longer posture holds. Restorative Yoga provides a means of balancing the intense muscular engagement experienced in other yoga or exercise regimens, offering students a chance to leave class feeling relaxed and restored.

Gentle Flow (All Levels)

Encouraging students to connect to the breath through sun salutations and slow flow, Gentle Flow offers a calm, meditative hybrid of Hatha and Vinyasa providing practitioners an opportunity to slow down and soothe the mind with focused awareness and natural gentle heat building.

Rejuvenating Flow (All Levels)

Set your intention to fight your fatigue with a Rejuvenating Vinyasa Flow class. Instructors will guide students through uplifting, invigorating sequences that will awaken the body and breath while calming the mind. Vinyasa Flow provides innovative, strategic sequencing that fluently bridges one posture to the next. Through deep concentration based in breath awareness, students will find increased endurance, flexibility, circulation and strength.

Vinyasa Flow (Level 2-3)

Vinyasa Flow provides innovative, strategic sequencing that fluently bridges one posture to the next. Through deep concentration based in breath awareness, students will find increased endurance, flexibility, circulation and strength. (Room heated to 80-90°F at teacher's discretion.)

Power Fusion (Level 2-3)

Consisting of a series of over two dozen postures performed in a precise order, Power Fusion systematically works the entire body concentrating on the essence of every organ, bone, joint, muscle, ligament, tendon, blood vessel, nerve and gland. Power Fusion incorporates strength, balance and flexibility, teaching students how each pose stimulates the mind and restores and shapes the body. This class is a combines the best attributes of Vinyasa Flow and Hot Yoga; intending to be as restorative and meditative as Hot Yoga while providing the challenge and energy of Vinyasa. (Room heated to 80-90°F at teacher's discretion.)

Power Yoga (Level 3)

Incorporating the fluidity of Vinyasa, Power Yoga focuses the attention on breathing, posture and a one pointed gaze. Through internal purification students experience the opportunity to dissolve negative emotional charges such as desire, anger, and envy and encourage the bright light that lives inside each of us to shine forth. (Room heated to 80-90°F at teacher's discretion.)
